Request a room away from the laundry area for a quieter stay, particularly in the mornings.

I booked a function room for my Mum's 70th birthday party. Arranging everything was smooth, especially since I was 400 miles away. On arrival, the reception service was friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone for the event. The meal served was beautiful, and drinks were reasonably priced. Everyone seemed pleased with their rooms, though some mentioned the outside rooms needed a little TLC. Breakfast in the grill was enjoyable with a good selection. Staff at the event were exceptional, especially Michelle and her colleagues, who ensured everything ran smoothly. there were some issues. the carpets in certain areas looked a bit worn, and the WiFi in my room wasn’t the best. Parking was ample, and the surrounding area felt safe.

The stay featured a delightful breakfast with fresh seasonal fruits, and the well-prepared evening meals offered ample choices that catered to diverse tastes. the ground floor room in the annexe was disappointing. it was dark and had a jammed door that required significant effort to open. the flickering lamp made it uncomfortable to use. Breakfast service was also lacking.

Nice space for a family stay
We had a good time staying in the family room. It was spacious and set up nicely with all the essentials. The meals were massive – seriously, I'm still full! Just wish the bed was more comfy, had to improvise with the duvet. Staff were super helpful, which made everything easier.
